Access Update- #27
Electro-Optical Sciences (Nasdaq: MELA) has been drifting lower in the absence of news.Access subscribers who did not get the chance to buy the stock under our $5.75 limit may have the opportunity to do so in the next few days.
The stock is trading just above our limit price, so be ready to pounce when it trades at $5.75 or lower. However, do not put in buy limit orders of $5.75 until it trades below that price. If the market makers see a flood of buy orders at $5.75 while the stock is trading above it, they will not allow the stock to hit those levels, instead trying to goad you into paying up for the shares.
Wait until the stock trades at or below $5.75 to put in your buy orders.
As a reminder, MELA should release phase III data for MelaFind in the 4th quarter. That’s the first catalyst that we expect to start moving the shares meaningfully higher.
CYTX CFO Buys Shares
This week, Cytori Therapeutics ‘ (Nasdaq: CYTX) Chief Financial Officer Mark Saad purchased $100,000 worth of stock in the open market, increasing his holdings by nearly 25%. This occurred after the company issued quarterly results where it reiterated sales guidance and announced a stock sale.
Access subscribers who have not yet purchased shares of CYTX should follow the chief number cruncher’s lead and buy shares up to $8.
