** Sell Your GM Puts
Sell your General Motors (NYSE: GM) January 2008 $27.50 put options (WGM MY). The shares almost broke our critical support level of $29 last week, and looked to be heading lower… until private equity swooped in and made a successful bid for Chrysler, putting a bid under auto stocks. GM is not a good investment by any stretch, but we are now in danger of losing time premium on this trade. Sell your GM puts.
